Job Overview
An AG Team Member works as part of a collective to help the company grow and flourish. Every team member practices the art of floral design, assists with the execution of large scale events, helps their fellow colleagues with various responsibilities when in need and manages the efficiency and productivity of the studio as a whole. We pride ourselves in building a team of cheerful, resourceful, hard workers who enjoy spending time together and with flowers. Our team members are seen as an extension of our brand and, more importantly, our family.
The Intern is a seasonal, part time position, June-October with the potential of a full time, hourly position beginning May 2025. Educational and event floral design opportunities will arise periodically to help hone floristry skills. Weekend event work is available, but not required except on dates 9/14. We prefer to keep our interns on call for weekend events due to freelancer cancellations.
Intern Responsibilities:
Floral Team Support: The Intern acts as a support role to the floral team, assisting with any daily tasks needed such as washing buckets, packing completed floral arrangements, prepping floral mechanics, spray painting, cleaning glassware, processing flowers, organizing studio, preparing supplies for mockups, driving to pick up flowers, shopping for misc supplies, etc. Additional miscellaneous tasks may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Post-Event Studio Reset: On the Monday following an event weekend, you will be responsible for assisting a Manager in returning company vehicles and returning the studio to a workable state. This includes checking in and putting away inventory supplies, discarding expired flowers, washing buckets, and removing trash and pulling inventory for the upcoming week.
General Maintenance: General studio maintenance, within the scope of your abilities, will include a variety of projects (painting, repairs, improvements, building, cleaning, etc) as needed.
Facilities Management: Additional facility related tasks include ensuring doors are locked, company vehicles are serviced, and other facility tasks may arise.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
18yrs or older
Able to work in U.S.
Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and be willing to occasionally
drive company vehicle. Having a personal vehicle is not required but preferredAble to lift between 25-50lbs
Able to work in multi temperature environments
Must be comfortable climbing ladders on a regular basis
Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
Must submit a resume and 2 professional references
Must speak proficient English
Time Commitments:
Starting Seasonal, Part Time (Hourly) - Minimum of 24 hours per week
Option to to continue employment as Seasonal, Full Time Designer (Hourly) - 30-40 hours work per week
Schedule:
Mon 7a-3p, Tuesday & Wednesday 9a-5p (some weeks with more flexible hrs)
